Story of Kayne

In 2015 pigeon friend Piet de Boer and I did co-breeding with my topracer Route 66 and his daughter of Messi,  the 3rd National Ace Pigeon Short Distance WHZB in 2013 (raced by Johnny Paliama). 

In 2017 Piet de Boer unfortunately had to quit with pigeon racing, and gave me the son of Route 66 and daughter Messi back. I named the dark chequer Governor. Piet also gave me Blue Opal, the mother of Kayne. Piet had the confidence I would get some good results with his pigeons. With the first youngster of Governor and Blue Opal, I did not let Piet down, a new pigeon star was born, named Kayne. 

Kayne was born in the summer of 2017. I basked him for some trainingraces after the regular season as a youngster. As a yearling he won 1st from Tongeren (6537 pigeons). A few week weeks later he won 2nd Teletekst from Loan with 8899 pigeons in the race. In his second year he became 1st National Ace Pigeon Short Distance WHZB 2019 in the Netherlands, with 5 outstanding top results in a row. The arrivals of Kayne were amazing. After these perfomences I stopped racing with him and he went to the breedingloft. I'm glad I did because he has already proven himself as a topbreeder. Children and grandchildren are winning in big competions and became ace pigeons. Also on the One Loft Races descendants of the Kayne familly are successful.

Blue Opal, the mother of Kayne, comes from Gerrit Appelo (Deventer). Blue Opal her father is from Alphons Eijkelkamp (Vorden). He is a direct son of his basic breeder Golden Pearl. She is the hen of the Golden Breeding pair, and is (grand)mother of multiple top racers and super breeders, such as Rainbow, Flying Eagle, Kalypso & Twingo. She is from the strain Maurits Voets and a granddaughter of the Witslap. Her descendants were more then 20 times on 'Teletekst'. The mother of Blue Opal was a racing hen from Bennie Schrijver jr. (Zutphen). Halfsister of Blue Opal, the Super 780 (19-1370780) from Gerrit Appelo is also a magnificant racing hen. She won 2x teletekst: 1st NPO Chateaudun against 5171 pigeons and 8th NPO Bergerac against 4153 pigeons.
